Chorley Physiotherapy is committed to protecting your privacy and all information will remain strictly confidential under the terms of the Data Protection Act, 1998. The purpose of this statement is to inform you on how we collect your information, and how we store the information we collect.

Personal information is collected in a variety of ways. You may directly message us with your personal details. The clinic will use this information to return your queries. The details provided will not be shared with any third parties.

During any consultation, the therapist will collect personal data that allows the therapist to understand the reasons you have attended physiotherapy. For medical reasons, it is important we collect this information. The information is confidentially stored away.

During the consultation you will have a summary of the privacy policy to read and sign. This will be explained to you by the therapist.

The only parties we share information with are your GP, Consultant, and your private insurance companies. Any information shared will be discussed with you directly.

If you are part of the Alleycat Academy team then your injury rehabilitation programme may be discussed with the head Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach and strength and conditioning coach. This will be discussed with you directly. This may be essential as part of your return to sport.

Cancellation Policy:

Clients who book appointments at Chorley Physiotherapy are required to give 24 hours advanced notice of their inability to attend, otherwise they will be charged in full for the appointment they fail to attend. This policy is deemed necessary to avoid denying appointments to patients who may be on the waiting list.
